4 DAYS (AN ULTRA EVERYDAY)

The Cornish Celtic Way is a new 125 mile Cornish pilgrimage route currently in it's earliest stages of being a complete recognised path. North and South Cornish coast and two already established pilgrim routes blended together.

Celtic Saints engaged with nature and risked everything to bring their Christianity to Cornwall between 500 and 600AD . The Cornish Celtic Way will guide people to walk in their footsteps , see what they saw and experience places of special significance where the saints had been such as Celtic crosses, holy wells, standing stones and churches...

(4 ULTRA MARATHON DISTANCES OVER 4 DAYS)

THE ROUTE WILL BE MARKED WITH EXSISTING SIGNAGE AND NOT BY US AS IT WILL BE SELF NAVIGATION.

THIS IS NOT A RACE. IT IS A PERSONAL CHALLENGE WITH MINIMAL FANFARE.

A NEW BIB EVERY DAY(SAME NUMBER BUT 'DAY 1', 'DAY 2', 'DAY 3' AND 'DAY 4' BIBS)

YOU MUST HAVE THE SKILLS TO SELF NAVIGATE AND TO READ MAPS. WE WILL NOT MARK TIS ROUTE AS TO MAKE IT A REASONABLE CHALLENGE . YOU MUST HAVE PHYSICAL MAPS OF THE ROUTE PRESENT DURING KIT CHECK (THIS CAN BE MERELY PHOTOCOPIES OR THE COPIES THAT WE GIVE YOU WHICH YOU MUST CARRY) AND THROUGHOUT THE DURATION OF THE EVENT ITSELF. GPX TRACKING IS PERFECTLY ACCEPTABLE ALSO AS AN EXTRA TO THE MAPS BUT NOT A REQUIREMENT.

ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL ALSO BE GIVEN A WRITTEN DESCRIPTION OF THE ROUTE BY WAY OF THE BOOK AND COPIED MAPS.

YOU WIL NEED TO CARRY ALL THE KIT YOU WILL NEED FOR EACH STAGE AND WILL HAVE TO RELY NOT ONLY ON WHAT WE HAVE AT CHEKPOINTS BUT YOUR OWN CREW IS ALLOWED TOO.
