DO YOU HAVE THE JEWELS?
12,24 & 36 Hours of a half mile out to the bottom of Phillack Hill and a half mile back toward the swimming pool to turn around again and do the lap again continuously until the 12, 24 & 36 hours are up.
The one who lasts the 12.24 & 36 hours with the most laps of a mile is the winner.
This is a predominantly flat course with only 19ft of elevation per lap. Possibly only due to the speedbumps on the road half section.
No cheating the course i.e, skipping between path and road unless instructed otherwise by officials or authorities.
No support runners.
Anything less than the full 12/24 hours is a DNF(This isn't like other events where you can put in as much or little as you like and pick up the same memento). If you have run 100k and stopped at 11 hours and 59 minutes then that's a DNF.
NO TIME OFF FOR SLEEPING
As the distance per lap is 1.06 miles, I will accept 59 laps as 100k (62 miles approx.) and 94 laps as 100 miles and 118 laps as 200k
If you're still out on the course at the 12/24/36 hour mark then you can finish the lap you started. That lap will count toward your final total.
Going to the toilet on course is a DNF. There are portable toilets for that.
Littering will result in a DNF. This is an RSPB and Hayle in Bloom area. Please respect your environment.
You must keep moving. 15 minutes maximum in each aid station at opposite ends of the walkway/road.
You must stay on course for the full 12/24/36 hours unless you must take a toilet break or need to eat or seek event sports therapy. Breaking this rule will result in a DNF.
You are allowed kit boxes which need to be labelled at left at the gazebo at the turnaround point. This will be accessible for the entire event.
MANDATORY KIT WILL BE CARRIED AT ALL TIMES.IT'S MANDATORY!
